RGA, or residual gas analysis, is a crucial part of any cleaning procedure. This analysis can be used to determine whether or not a product is contaminated. Not every company is allowed to carry out the analysis, as this is a very expensive process. However, RVS Clean does have the right papers for this, so we can take care of the entire cleaning procedure from start to finish. Want to know more? Then read on.
What is an RGA?
An RGA is therefore a method to determine the degree of contamination of a product. For this purpose, the products are placed in a special vacuum chamber, which measures the contamination by means of mass spectrometry. If the specific product is contaminated with it, for example in the form of processing fluids or cleaning agents, this is determined during the analysis. RVS Clean uses RGA to periodically check the quality of the cleaning process. By placing clean test blocks in the vacuum chamber, it is checked whether they also come out of the cleaning process clean. If this is the case, it means that the cleaning procedure is working properly.
